It is a long story and it needs to be treated as such. This means telling it from the beginning and, in this case, including all the technical nuances that add to its reach. It is not necessarily complex, although the perpetrators use that like a crutch.
As always, it boils down to the people behind it. Law is the law is a dull cliche. Today there is a robust concept called victim blaming. Criminals are criminals. There has to be someone (or multiple people) behind it.
This is the kind of thing that makes the current world so fragile; it is like Covid, flooding, cancel culture, and the Havanna Syndrome. Nothing is safe, secure, or permanent. It is everyone out for themselves and the empowerment of the individual.
But ultimately, only those who do it the right way will win. That is the way I see it. No more crab antics — you do not have to win by bringing others down.
